"Det är smått otroligt att Bad Dreams Always fortfarande hänger kvar efter drygt 20 år som band. Jag har alltid varit ett stort fan av det här Fagerstagänget, som har sina rötter i såväl klassiska R.I.F. som thrash metal-pionjärerna Kazjurol, och gillar så klart manglet på nya plattan ”20 centuries of hate”. Åtta låtar med bandets signum inbränt i varje riff som T-Ban avfyrar och i varje ton som Pontus vrålar ur sig – vi pratar brutal hatecore här som minner om såväl Accüsed och D.R.I. som Crude S.S. Jag hoppas BDA orkar minst 20 år till, det kan bli livat på hemmet då."

This is the kind of metal I can get behind. Heavy, overlaid and fucking tough guitars drive this thing like a homicidal mass transit operator OD’d on Ritalin. Most of it is fast as hell and the vocalist is appropriately bilious. But the sick crust style means the songs are only 90 seconds long. I could play almost any of these eight tracks again and again with a “fuck yes” at the end. In lieu of packaging, the CD goes in your computer and you can watch their video and such, but like the DESCENDENTS, this band is probably best if you don’t know what they’re saying. (JM)
